We are blessed to have Rev. Fr. Memo Hernández serve as Pastor of St. Joseph Parish since February 17, 2025. Known affectionately as “Fr. Memo,” he brings with him a deep love for Christ, a heart for service, and a steadfast commitment to the people of the Diocese of Sacramento.
Fr. Memo, whose full name is Rev. Guillermo Hernández, has served in a variety of pastoral roles throughout the Diocese. His leadership is marked by a special emphasis on vocations, youth ministry, and spiritual formation. He has been a featured speaker in diocesan vocation initiatives and rosary devotionals, inspiring others with his testimony and deep faith.
Prior to his assignment in Vacaville, Fr. Memo served in multiple parish communities across Northern California, ministering to both English- and Spanish-speaking faithful. He is well known for his welcoming presence, thoughtful homilies, and dedication to sacramental life.
Fr. Memo continues to guide the parish of St. Joseph with compassion and clarity, fostering a community centered on the Eucharist, family life, and service to others. His priestly vocation is not just a calling—it is a joyful mission lived daily in witness to the Gospel.
