Sacrament of Matrimony at St. Joseph Parish

“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”
— Matthew 19:6

Congratulations on your decision to enter into the Sacrament of Matrimony! At St. Joseph Parish, we rejoice with couples preparing for this sacred covenant and are committed to walking with you on this journey of love and faith.

Beginning the Process

Couples seeking to be married at St. Joseph Parish should begin by scheduling an appointment with one of our priests. This initial meeting helps determine eligibility and, when possible, establish a wedding date.

  • Contact the Parish Office at least six months before your desired wedding date.
  • Requests made within the six-month preparation period cannot be accepted.

To schedule your appointment, call the Parish Office at (707) 447-2354.

What to Bring to Your First Meeting

  • Recently issued Baptismal certificates for both the bride and groom, if baptized Catholic.
  • Certificates must have been issued within the previous six months and include all sacramental notations.
