Bringing Hope to Those in Need!
Vacaville families, single parents, seniors, and individuals are experiencing many hardships. They struggle to make ends meet, and any change in work hours, illness, or unforeseen expense can make the struggle seem hopeless.
What makes the Society of St. Vincent de Paul different from other community resources is that our faith-based service focuses on three pillars: Visits, Referrals, and Assistance.
We want to safely meet with those in need and listen to their concerns. Compassionate presence is the first gift that we can offer. Listening to and conversing with a person in need helps us provide appropriate referrals to other community resources that may be helpful. As our funding allows, we also provide assistance by making payment directly to the vendor on a bill they need help with.
We answer the knock at the door — the helpline phone calls — on behalf of you, our donors. Thank you for partnering with us.
We can all be proud that the St. Mary/St. Joseph Conference has been serving our Vacaville neighbors in need for over 75 years.
Gratefully,
Pat Bosworth
