Bringing Christ’s Presence to Those Unable to Attend Mass

The Homebound Ministry at St. Joseph Parish serves those who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, age, or other circumstances. Volunteers extend the love and care of our parish community by bringing Holy Communion to the sick, offering prayers, and assisting with transportation needs—especially for the elderly.

This ministry is deeply rewarding and fosters both spiritual and emotional connection. It is a beautiful opportunity to grow in compassion and to serve Christ through care for others. Volunteers should have a sincere heart, a willingness to serve, and a compassionate ability to listen. Training is provided.

If you feel called to support our homebound and elderly parishioners, we welcome you to join us.
