FIRST COMMUNION
(1st or 2nd Grade)
Preparation for First Holy Communion is a two-year program and will begin in 1st grade (1st Year) and continue to 2nd Grade (2nd Year).
ELEMENTARY
(3rd -6th Grades)
Children who have received First Holy Communion and are entering
3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th Grade will attend classes on scheduled
CONFIRMATION
(7th -12th Grades)
Children who have received First Holy Communion and are entering
3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th Grade will attend classes on scheduled
Children attend classes throughout the school year to prepare
for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
RCIA FOR CHILDREN
RCIA FOR CHILDREN
Is your child older than six years old and not yet baptized? RCIA adapted for children will begin this fall. The program will bring those between the ages of 7 and 17 into the fullness of the Catholic Church. As with RCIA for adults, catechumens will receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil in the spring. Our Parish now has access to the website FORMED.ORG which is a streaming platform for religious learning resources that can be used at home. From movies for young children, sacramental resources, bible studies, to family movies. Formed provides you with many different ways of enriching your faith at home. St. Joseph Parish offers to you all this resources for free in gratitude for all that you as parishioners.
To register is simple. Go to FORMED.ORG and click on sign up. There will be different options for you to select from but simply click “I Belong to a Parish/Organization.” Once you have completed that you search for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vacaville and select the parish. Then you input your information and Formed will send you an email that will direct you back to Formed to use all of their online resources. You can also click HERE
