Communion to the Sick Ministries

“No greater gift can be given to those who suffer than the gift of Christ Himself in the Eucharist.”  From “Pastoral Care of the Sick”

Homebound Ministry

Specially trained Extraordinary Ministers take communion to the homebound and communion to the sick

If you are interested in serving as a Homebound minister, contact the parish office for more information at (707) 447-2354.

Homebound ministry provides orientation, materials and support.  Commitment is one Sunday a month for approximately one to one and a half hours. This is a very rewarding ministry.

To know more about the joy of serving as a homebound minister or any of the other ministries, seek out a volunteer from that ministry and ask to share their experience or you may contact the coordinator of that ministry for that purpose.

More information from the USCCB available here.
